The 13th annual Subzero Heroes event was held on February 25, 2023, at Berean Park in Highland, NY. Scores of Heroes were ready to take the plunge as teams patiently lined up to brave the reservoir's freezing, cold, shallow waters.

As temperatures hovered around 20 degrees Fahrenheit and with the area’s first surprise snowfall, the weather didn’t stop supporters from cheering on their favorite teams. Complete with medics on hand, music from 92.9 WBPM bumping Nelly’s “Hot in Herre” and The Culinary Institute keeping event goers fueled with soups and warm beverages, jumpers showed up and showed out for a great cause—raising money for The Alzheimer’s Association Hudson Valley Chapter.
